UU Congregation Considers 'Becoming Whole'
Special to the Post | 2/24/10
Back to the News Summaries
On Sunday,  February 28, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hear a sermon entitled "Becoming Whole Through Deep Experiences: A Wisdom Circle," presented by Dr. Pam Kircher.

She comments that "In every life, unexpected experiences bring us to a greater sense of wholeness. It may be a moment in nature when we feel that we are one with all life; it may be a mystical moment when we feel a connection with God; it may be a premonition that saves us from a disaster, or lets us know that a loved one is dying; or it may be a dream that causes us to change the direction of our lives."

In this wisdom circle, Pam Kircher, president of the Pagosah UU Fellowship, will set the stage with a few of the unexpected experiences that wove the fabric of her life, and then will invite others to think deeply and share experiences that have changed them forever and "brought them to a greater sense of wholeness."

As they continue their celebration of love this month, the children and youth will show their love for the Earth, even in its frozen state. They’ll celebrate winter in all its glory and top it off with a cup of fair trade hot cocoa.

Come for some winter fun.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.

All are welcome.
